About Us
We are a father and son racing team based out of Bellefontaine,
Ohio. We take pride in our Coons Motorsports team and put forward
our best efforts to be competitive while looking professional! We are proud to be building and working on our own cars. We look forward to this year being our best year yet! We plan on racing at tracks across Ohio, and neighboring states like West Virginia, and Michigan. This year we plan to field a car in the Late Model division as well as two in the Modified division.
Meet The Drivers
Brad Coons
(48 Years Old)
Brad is known for his hardworking traits. During the day you will find Brad working at his full-time job as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He has worked in this line of work for over 25 years. Brad's passion for racing started with go-carts at the age of 12. Since then, he has moved through the ranks from racing Dwarf cars to now racing Late Models. Over the past few years Brad has won 4 feature events. Brad is eager to get back in the winner circle after spending the off season building a new car. Also this year he is looking to be racing a modified car that he pick up over the off season. This means we will see a father and son battle on the track. Brad is a father of two and enjoys spending his free time with family and spending time with them at the race track.

Aiden Coons
Aiden follows his dad's hardworking traits. Aiden works as a Metal Fabricator and assembler for SharpGrade graders. Aiden has worked these jobs part-time throughout high school but transitioned full-time following graduation due to his love for the
hands-on skill. Aiden's racing passion started at a young age watching his dad race and learning how to work on race cars through his dad's teachings. Aiden started his driving career in 2020 racing the Legend
car division. In 2023 Aiden moved up to the Modified division. Aiden's car was wrecked causing a hold on his racing career. 2024 was a year of growth and learning for Aiden as he was able to learn and build his car from tubing to a full car. 2025 was his first full season in the Modified series. Aiden enjoy's spending his free time with his family and his girlfriend Avery. He also enjoys golfing during the summer months.
